Students Discover Calm Through Meditation, Yoga and the Sound of the Gong.
The students enjoyed an enriching introduction to meditation, yoga and sound therapy through an activity designed to promote well-being, relaxation and a connection with their own bodies.
Through different yoga poses, the students were able to explore movement, improve their body awareness and discover new ways to find calm. Little by little, they began learning to control their breathing by paying attention to the air flowing in and out, and experiencing how conscious breathing can help them relax and feel better.
The activity also gave them the opportunity to discover the practice of the gong, exploring its sounds, vibrations and resonances. With curiosity and attention, they listened to how sound can create a peaceful atmosphere and invite them to enjoy silence and the present moment.
The first sessions were an opportunity to learn through play, develop mindfulness and discover simple tools that can help students manage their emotions, recognise how they feel and cultivate serenity from an early age.
It was an experience full of movement, listening and discovery, showing that through breathing, yoga and sound, students can also learn to pause, listen to their bodies and find a small space of calm in their everyday lives.
