12-12 Yoga for kids

The last few weeks our students have been practising yoga in physical education, as an alternative way to improve their flexibility.

Yoga can benefit kids significantly, and in some ways, possibly even more so than it does with adults. Thanks to their physical skills and balance, normally it is very easy for the students to take those types of positions. In addition, the majority of children tend to be entrepreneurs with the yoga poses, so as soon as they start doing the activity, they want to practice again and again. Children are able to withdraw completely from the world around them whilst concentrating on the movements.

Pupils have turned into Yoga teachers. After practising lots of postures, they chose their favourite ones and prepared their own yoga class in order to performe it and do it in front of their classmates.
